CBI today conducted raids in several parts of the country in the Sandeshakhli case, in the second phase of voting in West Bengal. They found weapons during the raid. During the investigation at Sandashkhali, the CBI received information that a large cache of weapons had been hidden. On Friday, the team conducted an operation and recovered many weapons including foreign guns.

what was the matter
Violence has been ongoing for the past year in Sandeshakhli, located in the border areas of Sundarban, 100 km from Kolkata. In fact, the women of the village recently alleged that TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh and other TMC leaders had taken over their lands and some women also accused TMC leaders of sexual exploitation. Women protested In Sandashkali, BJP workers are also protesting that Shajahan Sheikh is accused in the stipend scam. While Bengal MK Mamata Banerjee has accused the BJP in politics on this issue.
