Delhi politics has heated up due to the allegation made by the investigating agency ED in the court about Arvind Kejriwal’s food. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said that on one hand Arvind Kejriwal talks about bringing Ramrajya, but on the other hand he eats eggs during these Navratras. He said that they don’t seem to know the real meaning of being a Hindu. The BJP leader said that no person who follows Sanatan Dharma eats eggs during Navratri, but Arvind Kejriwal does. This shows the difference between his words and actions regarding Ramrajya. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party made very serious allegations and said that Arvind Kejriwal is not getting insulin in jail. This could have serious side effects on Kejriwal’s body.

BJP claimed

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Thursday said that the information given to the court by the Enforcement Directorate of the investigating agency regarding Arvind Kejriwal’s jail is very serious and shocking. He said that according to the investigating agency, Kejriwal’s weight increased by one kg while he was in jail. He called it a conspiracy to get bail on the pretext of ill health. He said that despite having type 2 diabetes, Arvind Kejriwal constantly eats sweets and mangoes from home in jail. It may spoil their health, but they do it on purpose, so that they can benefit from it.

Sahdeva said that the things that have emerged from the investigation so far through the court show that the agency has serious evidence against Kejriwal and hence it is difficult for him to get bail in the usual way. He claimed that therefore Kejriwal deliberately raised the level of sugar in his blood.

Aam Aadmi Party said

Atishi Marlana, a senior minister in the Delhi government, has seriously commented on this issue. He claimed that Delhi Chief Minister is not getting insulin injections in jail. Atishi claimed that ED wants to ban the food in Arvind Kejriwal’s house and that is why baseless allegations are being made regarding his food. The minister claimed that the news of Kejriwal eating sweets and mangoes in jail is totally baseless and baseless.

There was a controversy about Tejashwi Yadav eating fish

Earlier, BJP strongly attacked Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav for eating fish. The party termed the role of eating fish during Navratri as an attempt to insult Hindus. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself called it inspired by the Mughal mentality of insulting Hindus. In this episode, he also attacked Rahul Gandhi with a gesture saying that he is learning to make mutton (from Lalu Prasad Yadav) in a busy month. The Prime Minister said that what a person eats can be his personal right and choice, but it is not right to insult any class by showing such pictures.

Contrary to this, RJD leaders said that the Prime Minister has nothing to tell the public about education and health, so she wants to divert people’s attention by creating controversies on such issues. Tejashwi Yadav himself told about his picture shared on Twitter that the picture was taken before Navratri. Although it was published later.

This is an attempt to polarize voters

What is the purpose of Arvind Kejriwal and Tejashwi Yadav’s food controversies earlier in this Lok Sabha election? In this question by Amar Ojla, political analyst Kumar Rakesh said this could be part of a well-thought-out strategy by BJP. In a recent survey, it was revealed that people consider the construction of the Ram temple as the biggest work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government so far.

According to him, BJP itself in its manifesto talks about developing religious places and creating employment through tourism. In such a situation, to appeal more to the Hindu public, he tries to convey a message to a section of the society by raising such issues. He might profit from it.

Eating fish is also considered religious

Kumar Rakesh said that in India, a country with diversity in food and culture, politics can have a negative effect on food as well. Because eating something that is considered irreligious and immoral by some people in one part of the country, is considered religious by another part of the country in another part. The biggest example of this is fish. According to him, in Bengal, Bihar and some parts of Kashmir, eating fish is included in the religious activities. In such a situation, it cannot be said that food politics is suitable for the country.
