Rape of minor girl returning from Mahua, BJP leader accused
A BJP leader has raped a minor girl in Manatu police station area of Palamu. Accused Satyendra Yadav is the President of BJP’s Manatu Mandal. Satyendra Yadav is absconding since the incident came to light. Bharatiya Janata Party District President has removed Satyendra Yadav from the post of Mandal President.

In this regard, based on the victim’s statement, an FIR has been registered against BJP leader Satyendra Yadav at Manatu police station. The 14-year-old victim lives in her grandmother’s house. Sunday morning she had gone to pick up Mahua. When Mahua was returning after picking, Satyendra Yadav called her and said that the mother was calling for some work. When the victim went to Satyendra’s house to meet his mother, the BJP leader raped the minor in the house himself.

The victim went home and reported her ordeal. When the family members went to question Satyendra Yadav, he threatened not to go to the police. Police station manager Nirmal Oraon said after registering an FIR, the police are continuously conducting raids to search for the accused. He will be arrested soon. BJP District President Amit Tiwari said Manatu Mandal President Satyendra Yadav has been accused of harassing women. Until the investigation is completed, Satyendra Yadav has been relieved of the position of President of the Board. Information about the action has also been given to the state president of the party and the state minister of organization.
