Jordan’s King Abdullah II’s response to support for Palestine is seen as a balancing act by Jordan, which does not want to be embroiled in Israel’s war against Iran’s ally, Hamas.
Notably, this is the first time Iran has directly attacked Israel since decades of hostility that began after the country’s Islamic revolution in 1979. Iran’s attack on Israel has been condemned by America, the United Nations, France and Britain.
