Bengaluru Dardo Chairman Urges Stakeholders to Work Together to Tackle Exoskeleton Tech Challenges – Amar Ojla Hindi Live News Achi-News

DRDO Chairman Sameer V Kamat on Tuesday urged stakeholders to work together to tackle challenges in exoskeleton technology. He told the research and development community, the armed forces, industry and academia that doing so would also facilitate the preparation of a road map for the technology.

In fact, the first international workshop is being organized in Bangalore from April 16 to 17. His special topic ‘Emerging technologies and challenges for exoskeletons’ has been widely discussed. This workshop was organized by the Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). It was inaugurated by the Secretary, Ministry of Defense and Research and Development and Chairman, DRDO in the presence of Lt. Gen. JP Mathew, Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC), Chiefs of the Integrated Defense Staff.

In his keynote address, the DRDO chairman emphasized the importance of the transformative exoskeleton technology and its wide applications in military and civilian environments, according to Defense Ministry statements. He called on stakeholders, including the research and development (R&D) community, the armed forces, industry and academia to work together to face the challenges and prepare a road map for the future of exoskeletons.

Lt. Gen. Matthew examines the prototype and the challenges

Lieutenant General Matthew explored the history of exoskeleton research, its prototypes and previous challenges. In his address, he mentioned the challenges that the R&D community is dealing with today.

Lt. Mathieu emphasized the importance of exoskeleton technologies in rehabilitation, occupational therapy and augmentation. He also emphasized that exoskeleton technology has tremendous commercial potential. According to the publication, in-depth and informative technical lectures were delivered by Professor Robert Reiner of ETH, Zurich and Professor Aron Gyarman of Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois.
