Bagusrai’s daughter created history in the boys-girls National Senior Federation Cup wrestling competition. In the women’s 65 kg weight category in the competition, the late Jokia is a resident of Bhagwanpur Block. Juhi Kumari, daughter of Prabhanjan Rai and Heera Devi, won the bronze medal.
