Kolkata: The second round of voting went on smoothly. A swarm of bees caused trouble, 15 voters in Tripura were injured due to a bee attack. In Rishipara district of Khoai Tripura district, a sudden outbreak of bees has spread in the area.

On Friday, April 26, the second phase of voting takes place across the country. On this day in Tripura, voting was going on in the Tripura East Lok Sabha constituency, but suddenly a group of bees appeared there. The voters standing in line were scattered by such an attack of bees. Around 15 people, including a woman, were injured in the bee attack. Firefighters and emergency services personnel rushed to rescue the voters. They rescued the injured and took them to Khawai District Hatpatal. The injured have been released after treatment.

A rescuer told the media about the bee attack, “12 to 15 people were injured in the bee attack. We reached polling station No. 14 in Rishipara district of Khoai district after getting the news of this incident.” However, due to such a sudden attack of bees, the voters standing in the queue were scattered, naturally the poll workers were also in trouble. Although the situation is under control for now, it cannot be ruled out that such incidents could happen again in any part of the country, it remains to be seen what measures the Electoral Commission takes to deal with problems of such.
