Barnala News: In view of Lok Sabha elections in Barnala district, a special drive has been launched by Customs Officer Barnala Navjot Singh with the help of SSP Sandeep Malik to stop the arrival of liquor and liquor from being smuggled from outside states. Under this, joint teams from the Transport Department and the Police Department have been formed. These teams check by setting up check points in the area and checking the areas where there is a possibility of selling illegal liquor and smuggling of liquor from outside states. Barnala News
Apart from this, these teams also raid empty warehouses, shellers, dhabas and other places in the area where liquor can be stored. During this period, since the implementation of the Model Election Code, these teams have recovered 168 bottles of country liquor, 320 liters of Lahan and 341 liters of illegal liquor and cases have been registered against 14 people .
