GUWAHATI: Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Bexa constituency has made arrangements for voting in two phases. The elections in Bexa will be conducted in two parts, with specific constituencies assigned to each phase.

During the second phase of polls, elections will be held in constituencies No. 43 Tamulpur (Tribal) and No. 44 of Goreshwar Assembly under Constituency No. 4 Drang-Udalguri Lok Sabha. In the subsequent third phase, voting will take place in constituencies No. 41 Manas and No. 42 Baksa (tribe).

On April 9, a crucial meeting was convened in the office of the Beksa District Commissioner, chaired by the Inspector General Mr. Ravi. Ravi emphasized the importance of conducting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with maximum transparency, fairness and efficiency. He called on all the officers and workers present to ensure that the election process is conducted smoothly and without any contradictions.

Rabi also conducted an inspection of the existing facilities there. Discussions centered on ensuring adequate security measures, effective expenditure monitoring and smooth coordination between various administrative units to facilitate a successful election process.
