About 150 polling stations were designated exclusively for women," Kavitha Kakati Kunwar, Additional District Commissioner of Sonitpur district stated.

With a voter base of over 16.25 lakh in Sonitpur Lok Sabha seat, voting will be held in 1878 polling booths.
