Assam Ruby’s free education initiative brings together Kuki Mighty students in Ukhrul Manipur – Amar Ojla Live Hindi News Achi-News

The Assam Rifles established an educational center to provide education to girls

Assam Rifles has sheltered 36 girl students from Kuki, Mithai and Naga castes at its Center of Educational Excellence in Ukhrul, Manipur. This center was opened in collaboration with an NGO to provide education to Kuki and Mayite girl students. These 37 female students include 22 Naga, six Kuki, eight Mithai and one Pangal student. Let us tell you that Ukhrul region is five hours away from Charchandpur.

Assam Rifles said in a statement, “This educational center was created to provide assistance to candidates from violence-affected areas in achieving their goals. They now have a strong way to build their careers. The facility can be seen here. It is the result of the efforts of NIEDO and Assam Rifles.”

Female students responded

More than 150 people have died so far in the caste violence that has been going on in Manipur since May last year. Talking about this initiative of Assam Rifles, a Kuki girl from Charchandpur said that Assam Rifles has helped her a lot. According to her, “We feel safe in this center. I believe that only education can improve Manipur’s situation. We are 37 girls and we all belong to different castes. We all strive to continue our education. We need to complete it and bring change in our society.”

A Mitei girl who was present there said that she came here to fulfill her dreams. He said, “All of us have been given a good opportunity here. I used to miss my family, but now we have become each other’s family here. I also think that education can bring change in society.”

A girl from Kangpokpi, an area hit by violence, said: “In this situation no one could afford our education. In such a situation, I cannot thank Assam for guns enough.” A girl from Oakroll said, “We are all safe here. We have been given a great opportunity to complete our education. I don’t know how much work I can do for my community in this situation, but right now things are better for us.” Senior officials said that some of these girls were rescued from violence-stricken areas. He was brought to the Assam Rifles Center from Charchandpur through air services.
