Srinagar (Web Desk) An egg donated by a poor widow for the construction of a mosque in occupied Kashmir was auctioned for 2 lakh Indian rupees.

According to media reports, people donated pots, chickens and rice along with cash to an appeal for donations for a mosque in Sopore area of Baramulla district.

This time, a poor widow could only bring one egg to donate, the organizers put the egg up for auction, the first bid was 10,000 rupees and then it went up to 2 lakh.

The Kashmiri businessman who bought the egg said that a pure and good spirit has no price, he will frame the egg and keep it safe at home.
