A slight drop in the inflation rate was recorded after Ramadan Achi-News

Islamabad (Web Desk) After Ramadan, inflation rate decreased slightly by 0.79 percent, while the annual inflation rate was recorded at 28.56 percent.

According to the Institute of Statistics report, the prices of 22 items increased last week while the prices of 11 items decreased.

Last week, potatoes rose by an average of Rs 12 to Rs 78 per kg, tomatoes rose by an average of Rs 13 to Rs 117 per kg, while live broilers rose by Rs 54 to Rs 516 per kg.

Garlic, meat, dal mash, dal mung, dal chana, dry milk, rice, sugar and petroleum products also became expensive.

A 20 kg bag of flour fell by Rs 130 to Rs 2323 while a domestic LPG cylinder fell by Rs 95 to Rs 3254.

Last week, eggs fell by Rs 19 per dozen to Rs 257.
