A case of confusion in the food grains being distributed from the government’s fair price shop has come to light. Such irregularity has been committed by the shop operator himself After receiving information, the Food Department team arrived to inspect the shop in question. Here, when the food grains present in the shop were compared with the online records, it was found that the material was less. In such a situation, the team prepared the Panchnama and informed the senior officials about the entire incident, after which an application was submitted to the police. In this case, the police have registered a case against shop operator Arjun’s father Govind Dawar under Section 1955 of the Essential Commodities Act.
