When the Jain community in Dhar Nagar was celebrating Mahavir’s birth anniversary. Manakchand Barjatya, a 90-year-old resident of Raghunathpura, left his body and turned towards salvation. When Virendra Jain of Jain community got information about this, he encouraged his son Sanjay Barjatya to donate his eyes and after getting permission, he contacted Milan Pal, President of Dhar Manav Seva Kalyan Samiti. The committee completed the process of donating the eyes of the late Manakchand Barjatya with the help of Dr. Saurabh Borasi, eye specialist at Bhoj Hospital. So, so far 7 eyes have been donated by Dhar Manav Seva Kalyan Samiti. Earlier, the committee had also organized one body donation and one skin donation. While paying tribute to the departed soul, the committee thanked the family for donating their eyes.
