The Sindh School Education Department has set up a four-member search committee for the appointment of Director of Schools and District Education Officers for Grade 19 and Grade 20 administrative posts.
A separate search committee has also been formed for grade 17, and all the members of the committee belong to the School Education Department of the Government of Sindh. No one has been recruited from the private sector to maintain transparency, impartiality and merit.
Interestingly, all Assistant Directors and Grade 17 and Grade 18 officers are only appointed after undergoing training and passing the test.
According to the Grade 19 and Grade 20 Search Committee notification, the Sindh Education Minister will be the Chairman of the Search Committee.
The members of the committee will be the Secretary of School Education, the Chief Program Officer of RSU and the Secretary of Additional School Education.
