Accused Bilaspur, who stole cash worth Rs 4 lakh and money from three different rice mills, was arrested by the police from Rippur Road on Friday. He ran to Raipur. Accused Vinod Banjara (39 years), a resident of Chandli Patharia village, committed a theft at the Radharani rice factory located in Karajhord in Kota district three days ago. His face was seen on CCTV footage as he fled. The police then compared him to the old photographs and found that the appearance was similar. Based on the footage of CCTV cameras installed on the route leading out of the rice mill, the police reached his house, Bandhwapara Sakri. Here it turned out that he had gone to his village Chandali Patharia. Before the police could reach the village, he was informed and fled in a bus. The police caught him traveling to Raipur by bus on the Raipur road.
