The Government of India has appointed Janak Prasad Pathak (IAS) as the Commissioner, Medical Education on duty in Uttar Pradesh from May 5, 2024 to June 4, 2024 in view of the Lok Sabha elections. During this period, the additional charge of Commissioner, Medical Education was transferred to Chandan Kumar (IAS), Special Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh, Department of Public Health and Family Welfare.
