A ship made of wood and a rare two-thousand-year-old statue of Gautam Buddha are in the Musa Dakhri Museum here. What remains is the center of attraction among the people. Inscriptions, stupas, hundreds of years old tools and toys found in excavations in the museum also testify to their importance.

The museum has a unique collection of historical items created by the founder of the university, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.
