Bokaro The court of Special Judge POCSO ADJ-3 Bokaro, Rajiv Ranjan, on Monday sentenced the accused Rohit Singh (22) to 20 years rigorous imprisonment in the case of seducing and raping a little girl. Besides, a fine of Rs 10,000 has also been imposed. If the fine is not paid, the accused will have to have an additional six months of simple imprisonment. He has been sentenced to 7 years under section 366A. A fine of Rs 5,000 has also been imposed. Both penalties will run concurrently. Public Prosecutor Virendra Kumar argued the case in court. He said the incident took place on December 15, 2022 in Harla police station area. The accused had lured a 15-year-old girl and ran away at 9 pm. After this, the minor’s father had registered a case at the Harla police station. However, the father of the victim had asked the father of the accused to bring his daughter. But don’t listen. Somehow, at seven o’clock in the evening on December 21, 2022, the girl called her father and told him about the incident and asked to save him. The police took action.
