Vinod Kumari says that most people are used to eating hot samosas or crispy wafers or other fast foods including burgers, pizza etc between 4 to 6 pm. It is also a habit.

Dr. Vinod Kumari says that by doing this we are doing grave injustice and cruelty to our health, his colleague Prashant Desai even said that these 2 hours are our biggest enemy.

They say you start your day well because you’ve had a good night’s rest, then wake up in the morning to eat breakfast and go to work.

This is why you spend the first 7 or 8 hours of the day very happy. But around 4pm this pleasant discipline disappears and you start eating something like breakfast again.

This habit is enough to eliminate the effects of dinner and hunger, so to stay healthy it is important to avoid eating anything between 4pm and 6pm.

He said, if you want to eat or drink something, then take a glass of water, chachch or nambu pani (lemon water) at 3.30 pm. If you are still hungry, then take some dry fruits with black coffee or black coffee.

Should you listen to this advice?

Dr Vinod Kumari, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Jindal Nature Cure Institute, said that eating between 4 and 6 pm can have very negative effects on health. This is a time when lunch time is almost at hand, which can undermine the healthy benefits of lunch.

Most of these evening meals are fried items like samosas, full of fat, sweets and calories, all of which can lead to energy depletion and weight gain.

Most importantly, eating at this time interrupts your body’s natural appetite for food, preventing the body or brain from picking up hunger signals in the future.

They have also suggested to take as much dry fruits, roasted gram, fresh fruits or almonds and drink more water during these working hours.
