York: Emergency services in the incident at the Landel Bridge Achi-News

Firefighters, police and paramedics were rushed to the scene at Landel Bridge at 02:40 today (Sunday, April 28).

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the ambulance service received a call from a woman who had “smashed” a man on the bridge.

But on arrival, a fire service spokesman said no one was there, adding: “In a nearby street, police had one man in custody.”
