X takes four posts from BJP, AAP, YSR Congress, TDP leaders on order of Election Commission of India – News18 Kannada Achi-News

New Delhi (August 17): On the orders of the Election Commission, social media platform ‘X’ YSR Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister got some selected posts. Samrat Chaudhary were eliminated on Tuesday. All these posts will be removed until the end of the election period for breaching the model code of conduct.

The Electoral Commission had issued orders in this regard on April 2 and April 3 and the Commission had sent another email in this regard on April 10 saying that ‘X’ was considering not to abolish these four posts . Intentionally’ is considered a breach of the Code of Conduct.

‘X’ responded by saying, ‘We have followed orders and blocked these posts for the rest of the election, but we do not agree with these actions and we believe that these posts fall within the realm of freedom of expression and politics in general.
Announcing the order to remove the post on its platform, X said, ‘Keeping transparency in mind, we have notified the affected users.’

Let us tell you that the first phase of polling for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will begin on Friday, April 19. The seven-phase polls will end on June 1, after which the results will be declared on June 4 with the counting of the votes.
