On this occasion, CMHO Dr. SR Churendra informed about the purpose of Red Cross and made people aware of selfless human service. Red Cross Organizer Upendra Sengar said that people all over the world celebrate World Red Cross Day every year on May 8. Today is the birthday of Henry Dant, the founder of the International Red Cross and the Red Crescent. He was the first person to win the Nobel Peace Prize. On this day, everyone is encouraged to do something good for peace.
