SJPNL AGM PP Sharma said that the water level in Koti Brandi source has come down. Because of this the schedule has changed. Now water will be supplied to the residents of the city for only 6 days and the supply will be normalized as soon as the water level at the source rises.
Pumping is not possible due to siltation during the rainy season
In summer, water sources usually dry up and people have to face hardships. During the rainy season, pumping is not possible due to siltation in the sources and also during this period, a smooth supply of water is not possible. This problem has been going on for a long time but so far no permanent solution has been found. Every year in the summer and rainy season people yearn for water.
On Saturday there was no water supply in some areas
Due to a change in the water supply schedule, there was no water supply in some areas of 3 zones of the city. In this, there was no water supply in Toland and Kanlog of Chota Shimla region, Sangatti, Navbhar, Engine Ghar, Malayana JSV and Bhattakufar of Sanjauli region, and Pantaghati and Sargin of Flowerdale region.
