Karachi (Newsdesk) As soon as the export of onions from India opened, the prices of onions in the country dropped significantly.

Onion, which was sold at Rs 200 to Rs 250 per kg for several months, started fetching Rs 100 to Rs 120 per kg.

In Lahore, onion is sold at Rs 80 to Rs 100 per kg, in Dera Ismail Khan and Swat, a kg onion is available at Rs 120, while in Sukkur, it is available at Rs 130 per kg.

After the wheat crisis, mill flour in Karachi fell from Rs 160 per kg to Rs 140 per kg, while flour of two and a half flour mills fell from Rs 120 per kg to Rs 100 per kg.

In Peshawar, a 20 kg sack of flour has dropped by Rs 800, while rice has dropped by Rs 50 per kg, while the prices of ghee and chicken have also come down.
