New Delhi (May 06): Why does Rahul Gandhi always wear a white t-shirt? Congress leaders have not one but two reasons for this. It conveys the message of “transparency” and “simplicity”. Rahul Gandhi answered the question in a more than two-minute video released by Congress social media channels. “Campaign day in Karnataka. Speaking about this, he said, “In my opinion, without a clear understanding of ideology, you cannot rise to power as a large organization. “We have to make people understand our ideology which is pro-poor and pro-women and supports equal treatment for all,” said Rahul.
A white ‘T-shirt’ has been Rahul’s signature outfit since the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. When asked why he always wears it, Rahul replied, “Transparency and simplicity I don’t care much about clothes. I like to keep it simple.” When asked about the best moment of the election campaign, he replied, “When it’s over!” he said.
Rahul said he is on the road for 70 days starting with ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. He made it clear that this is not just a campaign, but a more difficult task. He also said that he likes to give speeches during election campaigns because it “makes people think about what the country needs”.
In this video, Rahul asks Congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge what he likes or dislikes about the election campaign. Kharge said nothing bad. Good because we do it for the country.
