Amritsar (International Desk) Residents of the village of Jati Amra in the Indian state of Punjab have expressed their desire to see former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif once again on the post of Prime Minister.
According to the British Broadcasting Corporation report, the residents of Jati Amra have also announced the construction of a shrine on the grave of Nawaz Sharif’s grandfather, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh.
Residents of the area say that Shahbaz Sharif visited this village in 2013, after which the Punjab government took many steps to develop this village.
He said that the Punjab government has constructed connecting roads in the village and also constructed a stadium. Apart from this, a separate tank made it possible to supply water.
The villagers further said that Nawaz Sharif’s family migrated to Pakistan from Jati Amra in 1938 but they never forgot their village.

He said that Nawaz Sharif’s family gave their ancestral home to the Gurdwara while leaving, we pray for them here even today for their kindness.
According to local residents, Shahbaz Sharif used to come here as a child, we used to play with him for a while. He said that in childhood we saw that the seven brothers (sons of Mian Muhammad Bakhsh) came here in cars.
He said, ‘At that time Mian Sahib said to his children, children! Don’t go away, we still remember all that.’
The people of Jati Amra said that the shrines of elders Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif are also present here. He said that it is a source of pride for us that our village family is getting so much development and respect.
Residents of Jati Amra said when Mian Sahib opened the factory in Dubai, he asked the youth of Jati Amra to make passports, at that time we also went to Dubai and got a job.
He said we went to Dubai in 1978 and returned in 1997. We pray that Nawaz Sharif will become prime minister again.
