According to foreign media reports, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said his company’s vision to provide electric vehicles in India is clear and it will be a natural progression.
Tesla is looking for a location to build its factory in the neighboring country, Elon Musk’s statement came after the news broke.
It has been reported that Maharashtra and Gujarat have offered land to Tesla for the purpose of setting up an electric vehicle manufacturing plant. Telangana government is also in talks with Tesla for this purpose.
If the plant is installed, Tesla will invest $2 to $3 billion in India. At the same time, Tesla’s electric cars will also meet local and international demand.
