Recently, Neom’s board of directors have given the world a look inside the largest luxury community along the shoreline of the Gulf of Aqaba, called Jaumur.
The development is expected to be the most cosmopolitan place and meets the highest criteria for future living and active lifestyles, according to the Saudi Gazette.
According to a report by Al ArabiyaJaumur is designed to strengthen Neom’s position in the regional development of northwestern Saudi Arabia.
The report revealed that the centerpiece of this unique community is an impressive marina that will serve around 6,000 residents.
The marina comprises 700 luxury villas and 500 marina apartments, all of which have a private mooring and beach access.
In addition, Jaumur will have two resort hotels that will offer 350 rooms and suites for visitors to enjoy contemporary seaside hospitality and leisure opportunities.
The marina is also topped by a huge one and a half kilometer aerofoil which serves as a grand entrance for the world’s largest yachts and a protective barrier for their moorings.
Jaumur offers a vibrant blend of leisure, cultural and entertainment activities, including year-round events, renowned shopping establishments, and world-class dining options.
The community will also be home to a leading international residential school and an innovative deep sea research centre, which will focus on marine conservation and discovery.
The aim of the research institute is to establish Neom as a major center for the study of oceanography.
The boarding school will provide a comprehensive education to a select group of international students, with a diverse faculty.
