Puber pen, webdesk: Trinamool, the state’s ruling party, questioned the non-disclosure of the Raj Bhavan’s CCTV footage. Trinamool spokesperson and state minister Shashi Panja said in Delhi on Sunday, “What is the governor doing in Kochi? He is supposed to stay in the palace. The state government is asking for CCTV footage. Why is this footage not being released?” Meanwhile, Governor Kurat Haim Anand Bose told local media in Kerala’s Ernakulam newspaper that false allegations were leveled against him to serve political purposes.

It should be noted that on Saturday a video of the Sandashkali affair was released. BJP Sandeshkhali mandal president Gangadhar Koel was heard saying that the allegations of rape of Rekha Patras in Sandeshkhali were fabricated. (The authenticity of the video has not been verified by Puber Kalam Digital). The local BJP leader claimed, “We did it on Shwandoda’s orders. He helped us, gave us money and a mobile phone. Shwandoda said, if you don’t do it, you can’t arrest people. We can’t stand there either.”

On the other hand, after the video was shared yesterday, Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee wrote, “This Sandeshkhali sting operation proves how dirty and disgusting a party BJP really is. To attack the progressive ideology and culture of Bengal, the anti-Bengalis are plotting to defame our country.”
