The West took the road to democracy more or less three hundred years ago, and the situation it faced in the previous centuries is a response to its continued progress on the road to democracy and is not ready to look back to assess the pros and cons of this new journey and progress. The West was bound by the triangle of absolute monarchy, static and rigid religious leadership, and merciless and cruel feudalism, and the general population of the West suffered greatly in these three forms of oppression and violence. The light of knowledge was forbidden to him, there was no concept of rights and their acquisition and it was considered that his main duty was to be busy day and night obeying the orders of his owners and masters like animals.
The Muslims of the West showed the way out of the darkness of the dark ages. While sitting in Spain, he lit a candle of knowledge and wisdom and told the people of the West that the king is not appointed by God, but his own judgment and will should be part of putting him on the throne and then take it off him.
The Muslims explained to them that the final authority in religion and religion does not belong to any person or class, but to principles and laws. No one, including the king and the pope, has authority over these rules and regulations, and neither has the right to make any arbitrary interpretation of the rules and regulations this.
The Muslims made themselves aware of the fact that the division of feudalism and cultivation is not divine, rather some human beings have automatically established this division to exploit other human beings and keep them as slaves.
And it was the Muslims who conveyed the message to the people of the West which was to consider the facts of the universe, discover the nature and usefulness of the earth and the many things that are spread around it, and find ways to use them for benefit the human race. It is not interference in the system or rebellion against it, but rather fulfilling the purpose of Almighty Allah and complying with His order.
We sat in Spain and taught this lesson to the West for centuries, but when the West learned this lesson after our centuries of hard work and began to walk away from our own path and follow the path we were told in his hands and return secretly to our homes. And since then, this suspicion has been on our tongues that the West is doing this, the West is doing that, the West has taken this away, the West has seized this thing, and the West is monopolizing such a thing. For the last three centuries, the situation is that whatever the West does, we have no choice but to shout, cry, make noise or more and more threats of “kill now”.
I am reminded of a saying at the moment that the cat is called the tiger’s aunt and it is said that the cat has taught the tiger all the tricks of attacking, punching and hunting. It is said that when the tiger learned all the tricks from the cat, he wanted to do his first experiment on the cat. The cat jumped at the chance. The cat, which was already awake, quickly climbed a nearby tree. The lion stood down and began to anger that aunt! You didn’t teach me how to climb a tree. Sitting on the branch of the tree with great joy and satisfaction, the cat said that I have saved this stake for today. We could not show so much understanding with this cat that we would have saved ourselves a stake and we would have kept something useful in times of trouble under our control. We sat in a corner of the West and laid everything open to the West and were so engrossed in quarreling and pulling each other’s legs that the West picked us up from Spain and threw us into the sea and set us out on a journey to subdue the world by conquering all things.
What is the basis of the culture and civilization of which the West is ignorant and which it tries to impose on the whole world with the power of the media, the economy and weapons? Just take a look:
* Freedom and liberty
* Forming the government from the people’s opinion and the government’s accountability to the people
* Civil rights
* Science and Technology
* Human equality
* Negate the monopoly of any one class on resources and way of life
* Refuse to recognize a sovereign time or religious leader as the direct representative of God
* Ending the role of religion in community life
I do not support all these things and I fully understand that some of these things have been unnecessarily included by the West in their program and in some cases they have gone beyond the limits of their purpose and their effectiveness, and it has turned into a disaster. However, I definitely want to draw the attention of intellectuals to this point who has set the West on this path? The serious intellectuals of the West themselves do not deny that they learned this lesson from Andalusia and it is also a historical fact, but what happened after that? Before moving on we must look at this change and its causes.
