West Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) party has demanded a white paper regarding the probe being conducted by central agencies. State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee targeted the Prime Minister and said he should look at himself in the mirror before blaming TMC. Addressing a rally in Jalpaiguri district, Mamata said TMC is the only one fighting BJP alone. CPI(M) and Congress are only helping BJP.

Demanding a white paper, Mamata Banerjee said, “BJP sent teams of 300 central agencies to investigate the allegations of corruption in Bengal. But they found nothing. Now the Prime Minister will have to tell the people of Bengal that what happened to the MNREGA fund the poor worked under this project, But they did not receive any compensation.”
TMC leader Mamata Banerjee also said, “The prime minister is calling TMC corrupt. He should look at himself in the mirror before saying that. His party is full of dacoits.” He called BJP an anti-Bengali party. Along with this, he alleged that the party is planning to expel Dalits, Tribals and OBCs in the guise of NRC.
TMC will have to win in Bengal: Mamata Banerjee
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee further said, “We will not allow the implementation of NRC in Bengal.” Taking aim at the CPI(M) and Congress, he said, “Only TMC is fighting against BJP in Bengal, the other two parties are helping them (BJP).” He said he was with the opposition alliance at the national level, but to save the country, TMC would have to win in Bengal.
