Once again we see a change in the weather patterns in the country. On the one hand there is intense heat in northern India, on the other a slight cold due to snowfall in the mountains, while in the plains the crops were damaged in many places due to the rain. Meanwhile, IMD has issued a weather forecast for the national capital Delhi and NCR. The meteorological department has predicted that there will be relief from the heat on April 22 amid the hot weather. There is a possibility of light rain and drizzle on Monday.

The scorching heat has hit most of the Uttar Pradesh districts in northern India. Most districts in the region are experiencing intense heat. The meteorological department estimates that there is no chance of rain in the next 6-7 days. In the meantime, there is a possibility of a strong wind that will blow at a speed of about 30-35 kilometers per hour. This trend will continue in the next two or three days. However, due to western disturbance, light drizzle is possible over western Uttar Pradesh but no rain will occur in any district of Purbanchal including Lucknow. According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms and rain are possible in Himachal Pradesh on April 22 and 23. After that the weather is expected to remain clear for five days.

Rain is possible in these areas today

According to the meteorological department, rain and snow are possible in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till April 26. Scattered rain with thunder, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) may occur over North Punjab, North Haryana. There may be lightning along with rain over West Rajasthan on April 22.

Light to moderate rain and strong winds will continue over Northeast India till April 24. Light to moderate rain may occur over West Bengal Sub-Himalaya and Sikkim on April 22. Talking about central Maharashtra and Marathwada, light rain is possible in Konkan and Goa on April 21 and 22. Scattered rain may occur over Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka.
