Kolkata, Samgiya: On Monday, the Calcutta High Court gave a major decision in the Bengal teacher recruitment scam case. The court canceled all the works allegedly obtained illegally. A division bench of the Calcutta High Court consisting of Judge Debenshaw Basak and Judge Muhammad Sabir Rashid said: “Those who work illegally for a long time will have to return their salary with interest.” As part of this decision, 25,753 jobs were eliminated. He was given the position in the 2016 panel. Work after the term of the panel is over, he will have to pay the fee.
Counsel for the plaintiff side said, “The entire panel of 2016 has been quashed. The court has given directions to the DM.” The DI will have to notify the DM within four weeks. All four recruitment processes of 2016 – Group C, Group D, 9-10, 11-12 – Panel have been cancelled. Everyone will have to pay back the salary. The court said that the salary must be returned within six weeks. The concerned DI was given the responsibility to check whether the salary was refunded or not.
