WATCH: Thieves break into temple in Guwahati, caught on CCTV Achi-News

Guwahati: Two thieves were caught breaking into a Kali temple in Dhirenpara area, Itabhata of Guwahati in the early hours of Monday, September 30.

The break-in, which took place around 2:25 am, was recorded on the temple’s closed-circuit cameras.

The footage shows the two men with their faces covered, carrying an iron bar as they carry out the theft. According to local residents, the thieves stole cash along with temple utensils.

The incident left the local community shocked, and a complaint was filed with the Darnapara police. Authorities are currently investigating the case using CCTV footage as key evidence to identify and apprehend the suspects.

Police are urging anyone with further information to come forward as efforts are underway to ensure the culprits are caught and the stolen items recovered.
