On Friday, the poll workers went out with EVMs and voting material for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in Sion and Maharajganj on May 25. Siwan Lok Sabha Constituency from DAV PG College Campus, Daroga Rai College and VM High School Campus in Siwan City.

Here, EVMs and other voting materials were distributed from the RBGR College campus to two assembly constituencies of Siwan district under Maharajganj Lok Sabha and for the elections to be held in four assembly constituencies under Saran district, headquarters Rajendra College of Chapra and Government ITI campus in Marahora Ham. Heavy security forces have been prepared in both the Lok Sabha constituencies so that no untoward incident happens anywhere.
Voting will begin in both the Lok Sabha from 7 am in which a total of 25 lakh 58 thousand 735 voters will vote in Siwan district. After the completion of voting, the EVMs of the elections held at Maharaj will be kept safe at Brajgrih located in Chapra Market Committee. Whereas EVM will be kept at Brajgrih from DAV PG College of Siwan Lok Sabha.
A total of 1015 sensitive places were identified in Siwan province. Prohibitory orders were also imposed in Maharajganj and Siwan Lok Sabha constituencies.
