Visa exemption agreement between Morocco, Azerbaijan ended Achi-News

Casablanca (Newsdesk) Morocco and the Republic of Azerbaijan have signed an agreement on visa exemption for holders of common passports of both countries.

The agreement, which aims to strengthen friendly relations and promote cooperation between the two countries, is designed to facilitate the access of citizens of both sides for tourism purposes only.

Visa-free agreements are becoming the norm in the modern world, especially after the end of social distancing protocols

The governments of China and Thailand have been particularly active recently in signing visa-free agreements with various countries to attract tourists. China also recently granted visa-free access to Cuba.

Sri Lankan authorities have also extended visa-free freedom to seven countries according to a recent announcement, Sri Lanka has extended visa-free freedom to citizens of China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Russia and Thailand.

Citizens of the above countries can enjoy visa-free travel to Sri Lanka until May 24 this year. Visa-free entry was allowed last year when Sri Lanka introduced the facility but was later extended to April 30, 2024.
