Waterloo regional police are investigating after a victim said a youth threw fireworks in their face.
Officers were called to a park in the area of ​​Allen Street East and Willow Street in Waterloo on Thursday around 6:30pm
A victim told the police that a group of young people approached them and one of the young people then threw a lit firework at the victim, which caught him in the face.
The victim received significant burn injuries and was taken to a hospital outside the region.
The suspects left the area after the incident.
