25 years after the death of the freedom fighter, the police have arrested the UDA Babu and the grandson of the fighter, who had done the feat of installing houses in his quota. This fraud was done in 2012. After the revelation, the allotment was canceled but the accused remained alive. He had got a house allotted to him in Bhargavanagar by showing that the dead freedom fighter was alive through fake documents. The two accused have been handed over on police remand till May 1. Sanjay Choubey, divisional president of the Freedom Fighters Successors Organization and a member of the National Core Committee, had complained in the matter.

Police said the resident of Khurai District Sagar was a freedom fighter.
