On Thursday morning, in Bindrauli village in Rai district of Sonipat, the elder brother brutally murdered his younger brother, sister-in-law and three-month-old nephew by attacking them with an axe. The reason for this was the younger brother’s marriage to a girl from another caste. The Kundli police station has registered a case against the killer, Mandeep’s son, on the father’s statement. Accused Mandeep is absconding since the incident.
Numberdar Dharambir, a resident of Bindrauli, said he has two sons and three daughters. All three girls are married. Eldest son Mandeep is unmarried. The younger son Amardeep was working in the ADC office in Sonipat. Amardeep (28) had a love marriage with Madhu (23) from Bhainswal Kalan village three years ago. By now they had a three-month-old son, Shivam. Madhu’s cast was different from ours. That is why Mandeep was against Bhai’s love marriage. He had fought with Amardeep many times over this matter. After receiving information about the incident, DCP Gaurav Rajpurohit, ACP Mukesh Jakhar, Devendra in-charge of Kundli police station reached the spot along with their team. The police have registered a case of murder against Mandeep on the statement of Dharmbir’s father.

Father Dharamveer said that on Thursday morning he went to the animal shed with his wife Santosh after feeding his grandson Shivam. After some time, screaming sounds were heard from the house. When he arrived home, the son and daughter-in-law were lying dead and the grandson was injured, who later died. Mandeep was leaving home with a bicycle. He said that Amardeep, Madhu and Shivam had been murdered. If I tell anyone, I’ll kill you the same way.

The young man and woman along with their three-year-old son had gone missing from Bhiwani three days ago. The two were brother-in-law and sister-in-law in the relationship. Thursday morning, when the child was heard crying from the hotel room, the hotel staff arrived there to investigate. Looking from the window, they were found hanging from the fan. Gohana City police station commander Mohan Singh said a postmortem of the two bodies would be conducted. The family members have not made any complaint yet. The toddler has been handed over to the family.
