Malikarjun Kharge hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that he insulted him and the tribal community by not inviting President Draupadi Murmu to the dedication ceremony of the Ram temple and the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building. Kharge alleged that the BJP considers tribals untouchable. He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would be reduced to 150 to 180 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Ranchi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge hit out at the BJP-led central government on Sunday for trying to “intimidate” former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and said the JMM leader has ruined the opposition alliance. He was addressing the ‘Ulgulan Nyaya’ rally of the opposition ‘India’ alliance at Prabhat Tara Maidan here. Leaders of the opposition alliance also participated in the rally.
Kharge said, “Hemant Soren was sent to jail for refusing to separate from the opposition ‘India’ alliance.” Hemant Soren is a brave man, who chose to go to jail instead of bowing down. If the BJP continues to terrorize tribals, it will be wiped out. ” The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Soren on January 31 in a money laundering case related to an alleged land scam, soon after he resigned as chief minister.

The BJP wants to kill Kejriwal
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal accused the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government of not providing insulin to her husband. He also claimed that the BJP government wanted to kill him (Arvind Kejriwal). He said the opposition ‘India’ alliance would fight against the “dictatorship” of the BJP and win.
“They want to kill my husband Arvind Kejriwal,” Sunita said at the ‘Ulgulan Nyay’ rally here. Their meals are monitored by cameras; He was refused insulin. My husband is a diabetic who has been on insulin for 12 years; He needs 50 units of insulin every day.” She claimed that her husband had been imprisoned for doing “public service” and that no charges against him could be proven.
