CM Revanth Reddy conducted a review on drinking water and electricity supply with the officials on Saturday. According to him, in the background of the summer there should not be drinking water problems in the country.. there should be electricity supply according to the demand.. appropriate plans should be made for this. Wherever the problem arises, it is advisable to take steps to solve it immediately.
According to him, this time there was more electricity supply in the country than last year, a new record. The CM estimated that the demand for electricity increased significantly in the month of March like never before. DISCOMs have played an effective role in electricity supply. This meeting was attended by the Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka.
Officials were advised to prepare an action plan for electricity supply in accordance with summer requirements. According to him, drinking water should not be disturbed, crops should not dry out and students preparing for exams should not suffer.
Early planning so that people do not have difficulty drinking water
CM Revanth ordered to act on a war footing so that there is no shortage of drinking water for people in all parts of the country. Local water sources should be used until April, May and June. All boreholes and wells for drinking water needs must be used and all nearby water sources must be utilized. He said that the district collector should prepare a plan in advance so that people do not have to worry about drinking water.
A senior officer at the district level was ordered to be appointed as a special officer to oversee immediate solutions when there is a problem. According to him, an action plan should be prepared for rural drinking water. As necessary, the senior officers of the concerned departments from the state level should visit the field.
Care must be taken to have water tanks in municipalities and corporations to overcome the lack of drinking water. If the tankers have been ordered, steps must be taken to reach the required location within 12 hours without any delay. Appropriate tanks should be provided for this.’ The CM instructed the officials.
