The district election officer said that the sixth phase of voting in the district will be held on May 25. The district election officer said that if any issue related to EBM arises during the mock poll or actual voting, he will immediately approach the concerned Sector Magistrate, QRT or BDO and resolve the issue immediately. This information will also be given to the control room. The phone number of the control room is indicated in the meeting letter itself.
He said that if CU, BU and BHIPAT are damaged during the mock poll, those machines will be replaced but if CU and BU are damaged during the actual voting, the entire set will be replaced. If Bhibhipat is damaged, only Bhibhipat will be replaced. DM informed that all officers will press the summary button every two hours and send the actual vote and percentages to the control room through the sector.
