ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online) It has been revealed that a grade 18 officer of the Inland Revenue Service of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has been kidnapped from Korawalpindi.
According to private TV Express News, the kidnappers kidnapped grade 18 officer Rahmatullah Khan for ransom and demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore from the family for his release. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered for the kidnapping of an FBR officer, which has been filed by the kidnapper’s brother-in-law, Muhammad Shafiq who was abducted by unknown persons on April 12 at 11:30 am. He left the house saying he was going to congratulate his friends on Eid In the petition, Muhammad Shafiq, the kidnapper’s brother-in-law, further said that every effort was made to contact and trace the brother-in-law. , but his mobile phone had been switched off since April 12. He could not be contacted and no trace was found.
The police registered an FIR on April 15 at the request of the kidnapper’s brother-in-law. The brother-in-law of the abducted officer said he received a call from a Sindhi-speaking person asking for a ransom of 10 million. The kidnappers said that Rehmatullah Khan was in their custody in Kacha area.
The early recovery of the abducted officer is a challenge for the FBR Chairman as the abduction of an FBR officer causes great concern among other officers.
