A Kolkata court has sent two people arrested in the Hoftinger blast case to the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) till April 10.
The NIA team that had gone to arrest Manovarta Jana and Balai Charan Maiti was allegedly attacked by a mob in Bhoptingar area of ​​East Madinpur district in West Bengal.
Three people were killed in an explosion that took place in Bhoptinger in December 2022. The city sessions court refused to grant bail to the two accused and sent them to the custody of the NIA till April 10. NIA lawyer Shyamal Ghosh sought his arrest for questioning in connection with the blast.
