Women will worship from 5 am at Sakchi Shitala Temple and Sri Lakshmi Temple located on Sakchi Thakurbari Road.
Sheetala Saptami will be celebrated on Monday and Ashtami on Tuesday. On this day, Basoda (old) and cold food will be offered to Sheetala Mata. Women are quick to observe this for the better health and longevity of their children. On this day, women will worship in various Shitala temples of the city and offer food prepared the day before. Women will worship from 5 am at Sakchi Shitala Temple and Sri Lakshmi Temple located on Sakchi Thakurbari Road.
Priest Purushottam Joshi said – the temple itself was opened at night.
