Thieves took 60 thousand rupees by uprooting the tin on the roof of Malikram Medical Agency located in Kotwali Police Station area, Talipara. 40 thousand rupees in cash, silver coins and 20 thousand US dollars were kept in envelopes in a drawer of the store. Avinesh Saloja, a resident of Minoocha Colony, owns a shop named Malikram Medical Agency on the main road of Talipara. At 9.30pm on May 6, he closed the shop, locked it and went home.

When the store opened at 10:30 a.m. on May 7, the merchandise in the drawers was scattered.
