These 14 Divya Pharmacy products lose licenses in Uttarakhand – News18 केंडा Achi-News

Dehradun (A.30): Patanjali’s woes over misleading advertising show no signs of abating. Currently, the licensing authority of Uttarakhand Drug Department has suspended the license of 14 Patanjali products. The special thing is that all these products are quite famous in the market and people buy them in large quantities. The authority has given this information by submitting an affidavit to the Supreme Court. It is clearly written in this affidavit that Divya Pharmacy is still giving misleading advertisements on various social media platforms about these products.

The order was issued earlier this month in response to the company’s complaints about misleading advertisements of these products in breach of the Drugs and Intoxicants (Offensive Advertisements) Act and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

In this order, the company was informed by the Drug Inspector/District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Haridwar that the concerned institution had not provided the desired information till the last date and the explanation given by the institution was also given. Not satisfactory.

Therefore, the manufacturing license of this medicine is suspended with immediate effect in accordance with the provisions of Section 159(1) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1945. Divya Pharmacy has been ordered to stop manufacturing all the products this immediately and submit the original formulation sheets of the formulations to the authority.
