Voting in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections began in Sheohar from 7 am today. The booths are closely monitored. Voters who have come to vote are waiting for their turn in line. The Shivhar Lok Sabha constituency also includes two assembly constituencies of Sitamarhi, Belsand and Riga.

A total of 314596 voters will exercise their franchise in 317 polling stations in the Shiohar Assembly. 32583 voters will vote in 331 booths in the Sitmari Assembly in Riga and 282746 voters in 282 booths in the Belzand Assembly.

Instructions were given to conduct a mock poll first thing in the morning until 5:30 a.m. on voting day. Voting will take place between 7 am and 6 pm. DM and SP of both the districts issued many necessary instructions in this regard.

Police officers and police forces were appointed at various places. Let us tell you that from Sitamarhi there is a direct contest between India backed JDU Lovely Anand and India Alliance Silver backed candidate Ritu Jaiswal.

There is a face-to-face battle in Shachar

There are 12 candidates in the fray for the Lok Sabha polls. It’s a one on one fight here. There is a direct fight between RJD’s Ritu Jaiswal and the lovely Anand, wife of JDU’s powerful Anand Mohan. There is going to be a fierce competition between the two. Everyone’s fate will be decided in EVM by 6 PM today.
